Rhapsody - 'My Library' is missing.

I use Rhapsody from Real.com and it's great. I'm definately a streamer - I don't really care about collecting music, and I would much rather be discovering new music and staying up-to-date. But, the service is really buggy - always has been. I just discovered a fix for one of those problems - it's when your saved library just disappears - this usually happens during an upgrade which is often. Anyway, here's the fix (from a guy named Lopez)

1. Open My Computer
2. Open the C: drive
3. Open Documents and Settings folder
4. Open your user profile folder
5. Find the Application Data folder and open it. (note this folder might be hidden)
5a. To unhide this folder please Click on tools and folder options
5b. Then click on the view tab and select show hidden files and folders.
6. Find and open the real folder
7. Delete the Rhapsody and RhapsodySDK folders.
8. Close all windows.Hope this information helps.

  2. Thank you SO much! I'd spent hours over time creating playlists and they were ALL missing when I logged on today. I followed your instructions, logged back in and VOILA! All my playlists were back! I'm doing a happy dance!

Good tip - worked for me as well. Saved a lot of time re-establishing playlists.

Yep, worked for me too. Shame Rhapsody can't add this step as an auto part of the update script?

I had somehow lost 80% of "My Library" on one of the computers I use for Rhapsody (100% showed up on my other computer and SONOS player). Your fix did the trick and returned the 100% to the troubled computer. Thanks!

Thanks for this, I was working on a playlist, next thing I know ALL of mine disappeared. Followed your steps and it worked. Although with Windows 7 I had to search for the Real directory.
